I honestly had never given insurance a thought. My father had dabbled in insurance as he and my mother struggled to raise six boys in southern Oregon where I was raised. At the time, I was working with a friend doing mobile detailing and customization for car dealerships- a job that gave me a lot of freedom, but not much of a future.

Shortly thereafter I began working with Ron and Langlands & Associates was formed. When I first started, we didn’t have internet. We had one pc for running Life Quotes and a fax machine. Even though the insurance industry has changed dramatically over the last ten years, and now it seems everything is done online, one thing has not changed:

We also pondered entering the Property Casualty Market to offer Auto, Home and Business Liability but decided it would be best to make Life and Health Insurance our specialty so as to provide the best customer experience for individuals and businesses alike. That decision has turned out to be the course of wisdom over the next 13 years Ron and I worked together. In October of 2012, I took over our Brokerage and have been managing it ever since.

It has been over 20 years since I started working out of our office here in Minden and I still cannot think of a better place to work with the local community and raise a family. I look forward to helping you and your family, or your employees, with whatever your insurance needs are.
